From A Refugee in Europe

I found myself in Greece, lost and overwhelmed by fear. During that time, I was introduced to Al Massira. It was a powerful message that spoke directly to my heart. Each episode felt like divine revelation, removing the veil from my eyes and revealing truth greater than I had ever known. I experienced a spiritual awakening. Every moment of the series resonated with my soul. When it ended, I was no longer the same person.

From Central Asia

When I started watching Al Massira, each episode of this series was like a light in the darkness of my life. The stories, the messages, and what was said about Jesus touched my heart. For the first time in my life, I realised that Jesus was not just a historical figure or a prophet; He is alive, He knows me, and He loves me. Today, I am proud to say that Jesus is my Saviour.

Karim – Middle East

When I first joined, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The group felt a bit unfamiliar at first—we were all strangers. But week after week, something changed. We shared meals together, we asked hard questions, and we listened to each other. Now, when someone asks if we still meet, I tell them: ‘How can I not meet with them? This is my AM family.’ We’re still journeying together, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We Explored Together as a Family

My husband started watching the AM films, and at first, I didn’t understand his decision to explore what faith in Jesus the Messiah meant. It was a shock. But then we went through the journey together—our whole family. The films helped us understand what he was discovering. We watched, we discussed, we asked questions together. Now we’re all on the same path. We’re one family, journeying together.

From West Africa

I had the privilege of participating in the Al Massira journey. It was very important in confirming my decision, to accept the Messiah into my life, as I was able to understand many things that I did not yet understand about the Holy Scriptures and God’s plan. It was through Al Massira that I understood that God was calling me to be a witness to my people here in my ethnic group in West Africa.

From the Middle East

LATIN AMERICA

I had the privilege of sharing all the Al Massira videos with a local friend. After seeing them she had clarity in many ways about Jesus, even to the point of considering that if God is all-powerful, this Biblical story of Jesus could be true. She has not yet made a public declaration of faith; however, I share this as an encouragement to you to continue sowing Biblical truth in the lives of other friends.

INDIA

Al Massira is now being used in more than fifty groups across various regions. Out of these, around thirty groups meet regularly to watch biblical films, discuss key themes, and learn the foundations of faith in our Lord. These groups include seekers, new believers, and emerging leaders—creating a healthy environment for growth and engagement. Many Al Massira participants have gone on to start new prayer groups, house fellowships, and discovery groups in their communities.

MIDDLE EAST

We were at a celebration with twenty-five refugees. They had completed Al Massira in different groups and been baptized. We worshipped together and celebrated the Lord’s Supper. Two of the women volunteered to distribute the bread and wine. When one of them gave the bread to me she said: “Here is the body of Christ given for us. I didn’t believe in this, but now I do, and I want to share it with many.”

AFRICA

In Gambia Al Massira is not simply a material, but an instrument for reaching souls. I was trained in Guinea Bissau. When I returned home, I began to put Al Massira into practice. I gathered some people from a rural community and guess what happened! There were new believers. Now when neighbors meet me, they ask: Are you the person who shows videos about the creation of the world and other stories of the prophets?

EUROPE

A church in the Netherlands reported on how Al Massira has contributed to the growth of their congregation. “It started with a single Al Massira group in Arabic at our international church. Today, we have grown to two hundred people from thirty-five different nationalities—and it all traces back to that first group.” This is just one example of a local church that has grown through using Al Massira in their outreach to diaspora peoples.

Common Questions

Do I need to know a lot about other faiths to lead a group?

No. The Al Massira films and discussion guides do the heavy lifting. Your role is to facilitate conversation and build friendship—not to be an expert.

What if someone asks a question I can’t answer?

That’s okay! Training teaches you how to handle this gracefully. You don’t need all the answers—you’re exploring together. It’s fine to say “Let me look into that.”

How much time does leading a group take?

About 2-3 hours per week: 90 minutes for the session plus some preparation and follow-up. Many leaders find it becomes the highlight of their week.

Can I lead a group with my spouse or a friend?

Absolutely! Many groups are co-led. It’s actually encouraged—it models community and provides support for each other.

What languages are the materials available in?

Al Massira is available in more than 50 languages including Arabic, Farsi, French, German, Spanish and Turkish. We can help you find resources that fit your context.

Is there a cost for training or materials?

Training events may have a small registration fee to cover venue and materials. Many resources are provided free or at low cost. Cost should never be a barrier—contact us if you have concerns.

How do trained users access the resources?

Trained users are given access to a webpage from which videos and other resources may be downloaded in multiple languages. The resources are also available through an app, which allows a group leader to manage their group and open each episode in succession to group members.
